FREE Forties Chevron quilt pattern, easy, scrappy with brights and solids, 1 block
3 Attachment(s)
Here's a link for a free pretty Forties Chevron quilt pattern. It's an easy one-block design, with just a large (4 7/8") half-square triangle, then cleverly arranged to form chevron design.
I grabbed up some of my scraps, and started a little baby quilt for my niece. Here's what I've got so far. (I only had pink solid on hand, so mine is a variation of the pattern. It's too hard for me to wait when I'm in the mood to sew!) |
What a fun, quick and pretty quilt this will make. Thank you for sharing this link.

I adore chevrons and I just got a big bundle of repro fabrics!! Guess what I'm gonna do???
ETA: I love your fabrics, and I may use a cream muslin to tie in all my repros. I think a single solid looks really good! |
Thanks for the link. It is on my to-do list.
