free - free motion quilting templates
Just found this site last night. Some great FMQ templates for free download:
http://www.patsythompsondesigns.com/free-downloads/ She has done them for both right and left-handed quilters, which is an extra touch that could be very useful! |
Thanks for the link. I did know about Patsy Thompson designs, but had forgotten. I have several quilts right now that need quilting, and have been struggling with what to quilt on them. You have solved my problem.
I have just quilted one and in the process made myself a stencil by drawing out what I wanted on a transparency (we used to use them at work all the time). I then sewed around the design and used the pounce to mark through it. I don`t seem to be able to totally free motion yet. How do you mark your quilts. amh |
Thanks, I just saved it in my favorites.

A picture would be helpful of the designs but it is a nice gesture for those who have adobe.

I was able to just click on each one & OPEN it, not SAVE it, just to check it out. Some good stuff here. Thanks for sharing this with us "neeng".

Thanks Neeng!!! ...... and hello from another Ontarian! With Tartan, that makes three of us here .... add AMH and we've got enough Canucks here for a card party! :D Whether you use her designs directly or not, there's some great inspiration there towards FMQ. |
