Free How to on Minky by Fons and Porter - very good

Thanks for sharing this with us. She gave some really great tips. Love the interfacing tip, especially. Make so much sense.

It is a very good video. Now I can start using the cuddle fabrics I have been leery of using.

Isn't 'cuddle' fabric different from 'minky' fabric? Just wondering.

Thanks for the link. I learned about the lint roller when I made the mistake of cutting on my ironing board, I went through at least four papers, lol! I love the idea of lightweight wash-away interfacing. I used my serger but the fabric still stretched and rolled some.

Cas49or, I see you used wash-away and the video just used regular fusible (didn't mention it being wash-away). Do you think one would be better than the other? I've never used minky, but would like to. I had wondered how the stretchiness could be worked with.

I haven't tried it yet, but I thought I would use wash away for my kind of project, making covers for chairs, so it would be stretchy afterward. It's a good question for anyone who has tried the fusible for toys or projects like in the film, anyone?
