A good tute for a block
 
This came in an email today and it appears to be an easy block for even a beginner to do. I love the pictures for each step.

Yeah, Penny Halgren is a very talented quilter; however, if you watch further communications she is always trying to sell you something. It gets really old after awhile.

I agree, but I just delete the various emails that are selling programs, etc. I learned to quilt using her DVD's and know I couldn't have done it on my own so I really enjoy her free blocks.

At first I liked Pennys emails but then again, you go further and it's a sell program and my feathers flop! I do like the free variations she has from time to time....can't say anything bad about it though...after all something free is better than nothing at all.
