Greatest invention since the rotary cutter!!

Just found this! Quilting will never be the same! Some waste with fabric, from what I can see, but can be used on back, etc. or other projects.

I don't get it. Is it just fabric printed in stripes?

Wonder what the quilt judges would say? sure makes it easy!

Someone needs to get her a long ruler!!

That could be fun. I wonder if any shops around me will be carrying it? Could be fun for a few quilts. :)

That's pretty cool! Wonder why somebody hasn't thought of it before?

For one thing, it would save time. Then: not as many seams, not as much cutting, no wavy strips, no distorted HST, all the things they said in the demo. If you had to have a quilt for someone in a hurry, it sure would cut down on time. Plus not having to spend a lot of time running around looking for coordinating fabric. Yes, it is fun to do, but sometimes, by the time I find what I want, I am burned out on making the quilt. The first quilt that came to mind was from a few threads ago: http://www.quiltingboard.com/main-f1...e-t222498.html

I don't know - I don't really get the hurry up part of these projects. I think this takes all of the fun out of quilting. A good way to spend money without really getting much out of it (in my opinion, of course)

I find it hard to believe that the strips would be printed perfectly straight on the fabric. She sure made the cutting look easy. All I could think about when she was cutting that folded fabric is that if I was cutting it, I would have the underneath piece all screwed up and not cut perfectly on the lines!!!!

Our quilt shop is doing a BOM with it this year. The quilt is very pretty.
