I found this and got two of them to hang up my rulers and guides and templates.

Are the hooks small enough for the holes in the rulers?
Good idea.

I hang templates and rulers that I don't use often on belt hangers from Walmarts.

my problem is no wall space. I live in a cape style of home; for those not familiar, second floor have half walls then slants up at an angle and the ceiling slants down at an angle to meet.

You can also buy a small piece of pegboard from someplace like Lowe's or Hhome Depot. Mount it on lattice strips or 1x2's and use pegboard hooks, which are relatively cheap, especiall at discount tool stores.

I have a small bare wall in my sm walk in closet that has loads of fabric on shelves and my Hubby put up a lg, pc of pegboard that he had a thin frame put on and I have lots of hooks for all my rulers hanging on them. It works great!!

There are "command" brand mini hooks that you can put up to hang a ruler on where ever you have space or you can arrange your rulers in an office desk top file folder from an office supply or Target/Wal-Mart.

No room to hang rulers, besides that our house is 126 yrs. old and has the plaster.

Up at the top is a slot for "search." Type in Wallboard with hooks and it will come up.

Do you have the hooks that are straight or the ones that are curved?

stillvnu 09-02-2010 08:49 PM

The command hooks I have for my rulers came in a package of 10 ... the part that sticks to the wall is about 1" sq with a metal hook (which is small enough to go through the hole in the ruler). I found them at Joann's and used a 40% off coupon.
