Great tut and perfect timing for me since I need to make a cover for an old ironing board that I bought at flee market. It is a nice big board, but the store bought covers are too small. Thanks for this tut!

Now I can pick a fabric to cheer me up when ironing. Do you think it would help to ScotchGuard it a couple of times?

Thanks, Crafty! I've been in great need of a new cover for my outsized ironing board and you must have ESP as I just ordered some fabulous "Bobbins & Bits" fabric from Connecting Threads for my project. Thinking of making some coordinated covers for my seat pad, SM dust cover, etc. I'll try to post when I'm done!
