Fun!

Thanks for this information. These quilts are just plain fun! Cut some of my old Halloween fabric into strips and now have four tops ready to go. I timed the first one at 55 minutes after sewing the strips into the long strip, and the last one was two hours, including sewing the strips together.

I tried this yesterday, it took me an hour just sewing the ends together! excited to get this going and I'm speeding through it, 1,600 inches later noticed my bobbin ran out ! So I still didn't get it done.

I hate it when that happens!

I saw this video on YouTube last week and made a quilt top. It was a lot of fun but it sure took longer than 35 minutes! :)

I just did this on wednesday, and from start with the jelly roll not sewn together to a finished top took almost exactly 2 hours. I am hoping to finish the quilting part of it tomorrow. It was a lot of fun to do :-)

I would like to make one, but make it bigger. I have 2 jelly rolls, and probably won't use all of the second one. Any suggestions on how to figure out how many strips to use to make it a little wider and longer?

Go Girl, you can do it. Have fun

I think if you use the 80 strips you would end up with a 98 by 128 just not positve on this but worth a try and wouldn't 60 strips make it 60 by 98. Let me know if this is right my math was never great.

Thank you, JeanneZ! I will try it. And maybe someone else will have some thoughts on your math, in the meantime!
