Love using it. They are just hard to find.

You can get these on Staples.com Most of the stores don't carry them, but the online store does. Also, anybody in Phoenix, AZ area Mulqueen's carries the 3 pack at a GREAT price.

I found them at Walgreens in black and blue. Love them!

Thanks for the tip...I am going to try Walgrens.

I bought mine at a quilt show but saw them (for a much better price) in Office Depot's ad.

I found mine at Target but now that more people are using them, they're probably going to be hard to find. I guess we should stock up!

Could you post a larger pic of you quilt. I looks beautiful to me and would love to see bigger pic. Thanks Dretha

What is the name of the pink pen by Pilot? I went to Stapes, Walmart, office max and no one has heard of it, so I must have the name wrong.

Mimmis57 07-24-2011 02:19 PM

It's called FriXion gel pen.

Thank you. I learned a lot.

Cheri_J 07-24-2011 04:19 PM

I use them all the time. Just love it.

I thought I read on this board that these pens do show up again once the fabric is cold. I will have to look it up.

I did and I guess I was wrong...here one link that did a test.

They are great and I use it all the time!
What do I put a warning: only in some fabric with the heat of the iron is the color mark of the pen, but it is a white mark on the web that will not leave.
Should always test on a piece of fabric that will be used to see if you leave or do not check before dialing your final project.

You might think twice about using these pens. Read this article
