HI Grandma in Michigan..I'm a great of 2 young ones/ I see you have 3, but 15 grands? You have me beat by 12.:)......Very new to creating these quilts & getting them together, but not new to sewing...Each one is a learning experience...QB has been my springboard to learn anything I need..SO happy to be a part of it...berni

I use the Sharon Shamber method, works perfectly every time.

I have been doing my binding this way for years. They always work out perfectly but I made myself a little sample with the binding done up to just before trimming the triangles off. My old brain forgets every time which end goes right side out and which goes right side in, so the sample really helps.

Especially when you have fabric that looks the same on both sides..YIKES!! berni

Sharon's way is a LOT of work, but perfection, to be sure..berni

I learned this method from my Better Homes & Gardens Complete Guide to Quilting. I say I learned it, but I have to get out the book and read it every stinking time! Love this book though.

I like this method, too. All I have to do is remember the width of my binding, and it works every time. Thanks for sharing it!
