just saw Fon's and Porter show
2300 series, Flower Bed quilt. all nine patch blocks with one light strip added to one side of each nine patch. great quilt!! http://www.fonsandporter.com/copy-vi...ries_2300.html
put together in quadrants, four nine patches added around one 2 1/2 inch light square. then quadrants sewn together and added to that with doing partial seams. lovely!! this was a 2013 show and both dtr and Mom had long hair! t |
Wasn't that intriguing!!!! I am currently working on a quilt that I saw on one of their shows a couple years ago.

Was that the show where Marianne is making a copy of an olde quilt that she loved? If so, I saw it and did not like either the original antique quilt, nor GGD updated version...just looked out of kilter to me...and yes, both of them are sporting long hair. I personally like Marianne in short hair, but I mentioned this before......when I first saw this show...
I did notice that now on their show they do not give measurements or dimensions but instead refer all to their website....and sometimes that will tell you only what mag info is in! Oh well things they are a changin'. |

I am planing to make "Flower Bed" but in brighter colors and much smaller. Thinking of trying to use 1" finished squares. I too miss Liz Porter. Just not the same without her.
