Not sure where to post this. The Patchwork Pig, which is a lovely shop in the downtown area of Lakeland, FL, is having a going out of business sale. Fabric at $5/yd and most everything else at 1/2 price.

They have a website, but you can not order from it
|
Guess where I am going tonight!!! Are you from Lakland? I would love to find a local quilting group to join...

Gee that's still a long ways from here. Sorry the store is going out of business. Its hard to compete when the price of fabric is so high that people can't afford to buy much! Hope you stocked up. $5 a yard will soon be a dream.

Talk about being in the right place at the right time. LOL |
I went in on Monday and got 15 different fabrics. Greens, reds, creams, aquas, white on white and a couple pieces for backs. I am in heaven. Be prepared to wait in both the cutting line & check out line. The nice lady that owns the shop is finally retiring after many years, she said. She also said she'd stay open until her fabric is gone & there wasn't even a dent when I was there. I am thinking on going back tomorrow again.

Where in Florida was this store going out?
