From the first site, I like the second one and think I'll make one similar to that after I paint my bathroom gray. Thanks Crafty Bear!

Well done. Going to have to do 2 of them. Very cute.

I have a quilted shower curtain now. It's a single irish chain with the solid block being done with bluework (machine embroidery). We love it!

Love the shower curtain quilt. If I were to make it myself - how do you put in the metal gromets (sp?) at the top of the shower curtain?

Thanks Crafty Bear, once again you've come through. I read everything that your name appears on, because you always have the best pieces of advice. thanks once again.

Those are actually pretty easy ones to piece, IMO... so it's a good inspiration for us, especially if we want a special shower curtain and can't see spending that kind of money! Isn't it great being able to make something for less?!

Great suggestions. I promise one to my daughter, so guess I better get busy for Christmas. Gave me a couple ideas, you did!

I did not put in grommets. However, I did put a sleeve (same fabric as the border) attached in the binding but did not attach the bottom part of the sleeve. This part turns up above the border and I put buttonholes in this. If I should decide at a later time to use as a regular quilt I will just turn the sleeve down and attach like a normal hanging sleeve. And yes, I do have a vinyl liner behind it. I did this for my MIL about 15 years ago also. She kept it hanging at least 10 years without any problems!
