cool idea to make a big ironing board topper for your ironing board that you have now

ok, get your hubby, boyfriend, wood guy, or yourself and make this cool ironing board!
I will show my hubby later on today! tell him I want one by this weekend, ha ha |
My husband just made one of these for me last week. Works great for yards of fabric! It took longer to go to Lowes and get the board than it did to put it together!

cool, is this the pattern idea that he used to make yours?

Here is mine. Super easy. My son was going to throw away this piece of wood and I recycled it instead. I love this new ironing surface. I have a thrift store flannel sheet stapled all around it.
I love this even more 'cuz it is recycled |
I have seen this site before and would like the same as well... thinking it too could be used for cutting fabric if needed for space.
