I just got back from my quilt guild meeting and there was a couple there from Lamesa who run an online quilt shop. They had some really cute patterns and some really beautiful ones. Their shop is http://www.storyquilts.com. They used to have a quilt shop in Oregon until they retired to move closer to their daughter (although Betty says they're not retired, just tired!). They have BOM kits they sell that you can start anytime. One of the new series they are starting had me thinking of you cat lovers out there. I think it's called garden kitties or something like that. Each kitty's body is a garden veggie or fruit. The two they showed were "Avacato" and "Boscat"(it has a pear for a body). They also said they were interested in finding people to develop original quilts for them, for all you creative folks out there. Just thought I'd share with my friends here :) :) :) |
