For The Pegboard Lovers Out There!

I found this wonderful pegboard while looking at some quilt patterns. It is so beautiful I just had to share with the other pegboard lovers on here. I can only wish my pegboard looked as neat & lovely as hers does. Check it out here: http://www.honeybearlane.com/2013/01...anization.html.
Hope you get some inspiration, like I did. Enjoy.
Vonda

I have thought about pegboard, I don't have enough wall space for it. That would be a great way to organize lots of small things.

Wow that is one spiffy pegboard!

Jcbdsew 06-28-2013 01:29 PM

That is breath taking..wow..what a nice idea if you have a wall free to do that..I have all windows .on three sides..

My pegboard doesn't look like that because I don't feel the need to color co-ordinate wrapping paper. LOL. I use any extra time to quilt. Though I like to be tidy I don't feel a compulsive need to keep everything in order by hue:>

Nothing in my life is a neat and organized as that pegboard! I wish I had the organization gene.

I must confess that I thought pegboards were... Well... ugly. My mind has been changed after seeing that one. Funny what a picture frame can do. Thanks for the post.

I had my hubby spray paint my pegboard. Sure make it look a lot prettier that the ugly brown it comes in.I love my pegboard. Other wise I would be digging though a plastic bin for my notions. Pegboard may have originally been meant for the garage, but, NEVER , under estimate a quilters (crafter) need for some place to put all their supplies. After all many of us shop at Harbor Freight, Lowe's, Home Depot, Ace Hardware, etc. for quilting notions.
I too, need bigger walls so I could add more pegboard.

I don't have an empty wall big enough to hang things on , one side and end of the room are windows, the other has cabinets or my husbands computer station . but this does look nice ,well organized. thanks for sharing will keep in it mind for the future???

How neat is that, Thanks for sharing Vonda. I need a peg board, but really need a good place to put one also.

SandySews 06-29-2013 07:03 AM

Such a neat idea!!

Vondae. Thank you for sharing. I love that. I've been wanting a peg board but since my room is so open I thought it would look tacky. I think this would be perfect.

This is the pegboard that my husband made for me. I just told him what I wanted and now I have all my rulers and scissors where I can get to them easily. I Love it

Vonda hope you don't mind me sharing my pegboard to give more ideas on what can be done with pegboard.

meanmom 06-29-2013 05:04 PM

I am so jealous. I have my pegboard painted but not hung yet. My plans for the pegboard aren't that nice. I might have to rethink my plans.

Lorileik 06-30-2013 05:15 AM

Wow, I have a large one but it is not that organized and neat. Now I'm inspire to go organize a little. Thanks for posting.

You can buy 4 ft x 4 ft WHITE pegboard at Home Depot. I have two of them mounted in my sewing room; one over the ironing board and one over the cutting table. The only negative thing is that the one over my cutting table I have to use a step stool to reach the top because of the depth of the table. However, mine look nothing like hers! Mine are messy, but functional!
