I have not used this product but have read from others on this site that this product works well. I noticed today that Pinmoor is offering a holiday sale of 25% on their product if purchased before January 1st. I know we all like a good sale and yet during the holidays money is tight. I thought this find was worth sharing.

Thank you for the heads up.
I've been wanting to buy a second bag of them but couldn't pay full price again.

What are pinmoors?

TJB 12-18-2010 05:48 AM

I just had a thought. Those Pinmores are expensive and they look a lot like the ear plug you can get at the hardware store; but I do not remember how much they are. If they are cheeper it looks to me like it might work just as well.

The earplugs aren't as dense as the pinmoors, although you might like them. I've cut most of my pinmoors in half crosswise and push the pin in through the side rather than the flat end. Works for me.

I ordered my first set yesterday and appreciate the advice of a user of the Pinmoor product.

I love Pinmoors. I tried other things suggested to use but the Pinmoors beats them all for doing what it's suppose to do. I baste most of my quilts with them.

pinmoors are for pinning you quilt instead of safety pins. use straight pins and these cute little guys. it saves on having to open and close the safety pins and remove much more easily during your machine quilting.

I was hesitant to spend the money on these - but bit the bullet awhile back and ordered a package....needless to say, I'm thrilled to see them on sale and have ordered more! I was surprised how well they work. Love 'em

Things I would like you to know. In case you haven't heard.

Pinmoors are a One Time thing to buy. I worked hard to have them made of a material that will last forever.

They are 100% Made in America, the silicone and all.

Thank you for all the good things you say about them.

I love them, love them, love them. They had two of their colors on sale and DH surprised me and bought me 100 of them. Now, I have 150, because I had bought 50 prior

I received my first order of Pinmoors last week and I love them. I ordered the 100 mixed for $30.00. It was a bit pricey, but I think they are worth it. I will try and wait for a sale for the next time I order. I take blood thinner so when I stick myself, I bleed for a while, so they will pay for themselves less band aids. As for using the erasers, there isn't much savings there if they work. The ear plugs don't work, or at least the ones I had here at home and tried didn't, they squished too much. Plus they are bulkier and would get in my way. And one final thing, I appreciate the fact that they are American made and that in my opinion is worth the extra cost.
