instead of velcro you can use the command strips so it will not take the paint off the wall. and if you pin the fabric to the foamboard you can make a quilt in the future with the fabric. No waste...love this idea. |
What a great idea. I have lived in many houses that had drafty walls. Though I don't now, still would make an attractive wall in my basement sewing studio. I pinned it so will not lose the idea. Thanks.

Y'know, you could just cover these with batting, flannel or felt and make a design board for a room that also acts as an insulator for the wall. Those command strips eliminates holes in the wall.

I don't live in a condo or apartment, but I think this would also cut out sound from other residents condos. A good sound barrier.
