Bet you could use the same technique for rows of blocks.

I would sure think so. Almost like a round robin thing-make up several and sew onto the back and batting.

I have used this method several times, lately. It works great! The first one I made, I used strips of fabric. Then I decided to make blocks with sashing into strips to add interest. It is a versatile method. :)

I love this method, it is very easy to do, i love making the table runners doing this. I love jenny and the way she shows how to do a pattern.
