When I was in Florida last winter, the guild I was with participated in a rotary cutting blade exchange program. The company is
www.lpsharp.com you needed 10 blades to send in and they either sent sharpened blades or new ones for a very reasonable price. The group had used them several times and been very satisfied. I didn't take part because I didn't have any dull blades to swap out Mim |

This sounded good so I just checked it out. 10 Olfa blades with exchange would cost $30 in the 45 mm size. Price of new Olfa 45 mm blades was $33.
Since I always buy my blades on sale or with a 40% or 50% coupon, I wouldn't choose to buy from this company. For a long time I was buying resharpened blades from ... I think it was Denver Fabric Co. They didn't last very long but were inexpensive. I had tried all the brands of blade sharpeners and didn't care for any of them previous to that. What was good about this lpsharp co. was their explanation of what Olfa and generic blades are made of and how to best care for your blades to keep them sharp longer. Thanks!!! |
