Jelly rolls just rock period... LOL! I love them & can't understand why they didn't come into existence years earlier! I've always cut a 2.5" off all my fabrics (I had a quilting teacher that taught us that) but I like having a whole collection all rolled up!

That is a very pretty quilt. How can I bookmark this topic?

to bookmark any thread, at the top of the thread click on thread tools and the 3rd choice on pop up list is 'subscribe to this thread', click on that and follow through the prompts/choices. this will bookmark a page for you.

also once you comment on a thread, you will automatically be subscribed to the page until you unsubscribe from it. i hope this helps.

I, too, would like to make my own strips. My question is where you join the strips, do you cut the strip straight across or on a diagonal?

sewellie not sure of your question but if you look at the moda bakeshop pattern it will give directions on how to make this quilt. both quilts are essentially the same pattern just a different number of strips and width of the diagonal strip. i hope this helps.

Thank you for posting this link. I plan to use it for left over strips and for millitary donation quilts. I could see using left over red/white/blue strips and making the stars golden yellow.

Oooooh... what a great idea! I make QOVs & am always looking for new patterns! Thanks for the idea!
