Thanks for this link! I was very interested to see how she basted a quilt without the dreaded pins. I have used this technique for years for my dressmaking as well as my quilting, but I havent seen anyone else do it! Im just about to start basting a quilt for the bench on my deck which I hope to have completed before the kids get off school this week. My mother in law arrives on Wednesday(!) so of course my already clean home will have to be micro- cleaned before then! What I really need is to find a magic wand. My daughter tells me that every good mommy needs a magic wand and she would like to give me one for Easter! Anyone know where I can get one?

I love her basting technique. I've finished a lot more of my larger quilts. I've had tops sitting around for years because I haven't wanted to baste them.
I don't like using the spray even though I know it is convenient, and pinning isn't practical for me. I love not having to get on the floor or use the bed. |
I was unable to retreve that web sight for Sharon Schambers. has it been discontinued?
Thanks, Peterparley |
