Sherman, TX ladies I found a 1902 Singer 27K-28K for sale

If interested, run to The Crisis Center Thrift Store on Texoma Parkway by Sav-aLot. Saturday nite at closing, I found the Singer 27K-28K for sale for $125. Had a carrying case-no cabinet. Do not believe the case is original. It has the Spinx decals-really pretty. The only wear on the pain seems to be on the hand crank wheel and the area on the front where your hands would rest while sewing.. The back side looks to be in great condition.
Since they were closing-open til 6PM-I did not try. Hand crank turns, needle goes up and down.
I really do not know a thing about the older machines, forgot to check out bobbin case, but I think it was there, plus a bag of other things in addition to a reproduction of the rmanual. The lady I talked to said that a couple of weeks ago-it was on half price-so if you do check it out mention that you had heard it had been half price and see if can get cheaper-but then its for the Womens Crisis Center.
I hope someone can get it- This was on Saturday nite 6-1-12

Hey, Neighbor! Saw it there a few months ago. Surprised it's still there. I need to check there more often. I did rescue a Singer buttonhole attachment w/4 buttonhole templates in the oblong green case there that day. Hope someone rescues the machine.

Gee! when I lived in Sherman,TX they had nothing as far as a thrift store, of course that was in 1958. sounds like a good find and for a worthy cause.
