I made shopping bags as Christmas presents.
They are not so large, I made a pattern that uses only one yard of fabric (one half for the bag and one half for the lining). And they are reversibile... I was happy to find another way to show off some beautiful fabrics from my stash. I wrote a tutorial here: http://cadouri-din-inima.blogspot.co...-tutorial.html I hope I will not use so many plastic bags... It was fun to make them, and easy too... |
Geta, thank you for posting these and giving us the link to your tutorial!!! these are amazing and i'm making some of these--you can never have enough shopping bags!!

Hi,
Thanks again for this cool tutorial. I was wondering if you have a tutorial for a bag that we can carry to quilt guild meetings to carry our show and tell projects? The Bag would need to be a nice big size! Karen "Craftybear" Indiana, USA |

But you could print the pattern(it comes on 3 pages), tape the pages together then go to a copy shop and enlarge it. |
