Just saw an ad on TV for this power tool at Lowe's for all the different items it will cut, which included fabric!

Wow! Cuts through 15 layers of cotton. Very interesting, but also very expensive!
|
I won't be buying it.
Looks chunky to hold on to. And how long would the blade last for fabric cutting? I'd bet you'd be changing the blades just as often as the rotary cutter blades. I'm sorry, but it looks like a "Tim the Toolman" approach - make it bigger with more power! |
LMBO don't know about fabric but maybe for other things :D:D:D
|
if the blade is 45 or 60 mm, they could be a source for rotary blades, like Harbor Freight.

My husband has this and I tried it on fabric not as good as they say. And very bulkie for a womans hand. But I do use it alot for opening my plastic packages. They need on more woman friendly. Hope this helps you.

Looks like it would cute thru the material and the cutting mat and straight thru to the table :)
|
I have it. Didn't pay that much but Can't use it. Like someone else said it is to big for my hands and then I have a lot of arthritis!!!
|
If you read the reviews on this it will tell you that it's not that great on cutting fabrics. Nice tool for other things thought.
