I have used these on my bobbins for years!

I use these hair elastics for my hair (smile). What a great idea for a bobbin keeper. Thanks for sharing.

This was recommended to me also. One of my customers travels a lot and uses the elastics both on her bobbins and thread spools.

I have been using this for about a year now. Discoverd it when on vacation and I dropped my bobbin box. My DGD was helping me and she suggested using the small ponty tail holders. She had some on hand, so I tried them and they worked. Never tried the thread spools yet. Will try them next. Thanks for the tips.

Thanks

That is what I use {actually the smaller cheaper ones from the $ store} I also use a golf tee to keep my bobbins with the matching spool of thread.

Yes, I, too use these on all my bobbins and spools. Very inexpensive. I also want to tell another secret. I buy Matchbook cars plastic cases to keep my thread spools in. They;re a lot less expensive than buying quilting plastic cases and they are just the right size for regular thread spools, and they are almost clear.
