value
The Quilt in a day's website Is selling glasses that have red lenses, to help determine value of a fabric. They have a short video that explains value, with lots of examples, a very informative video
It helps me, so wanted to share in case there is anyone else with a problem in determining value. Imagine everyone else in the quilt shop wearing these funny glasses! A new fashion trend! http://www.quiltinaday.com/shoponlin...yt.asp?i=55471 |
years ago, my aunt gave me a beautiful square red vase. i use it to see my values :)

I just got a pair of these from Quilt in a Day that I intended to put in my DD's stocking. But when they came, I decided I should keep them for myself! Wonder what kind of attention I'd get if I wear them to my LQS or maybe JoAnn's ...
|
Probably not nearly as much attention as QuiltnNan would get if she wore her vase on her head!
(OMG, I'm picturing someone at the LQS with a vase bonnet, including flowers!) (Sorry, when my injured brain travels, sometimes I just follow to see where it goes) |
I have a pair of red glasses. Just don't wear them when you are driving.

that is so great! I always have problems and spend hours picking fabric....maybe these will help! thanks so much.....

you can lay it on the copy machine and make a black and white copy for value or one better my camera takes black and white pics[and it fits in my pocket when i go to the fabric getting places ]
