Muv? Our very own QB Muv? Is this you??? I love these videos in any case - prepare to spend a good bit of time watching these. This is all very well said. Whether you have just picked up a vintage machine or need to clean and oil the one you have - this is for you! Do consult your owner's manual! I hope you enjoy this as much as I did.

This is on cleaning up and oiling old sewing machines. Excellent info.

I agree! Her instructions are easy to understand, she has a soothing voice, the camera stays steady and I LOVE her accent

I seen some Youtube videos that make me dizzy, with the camera shaking all around, and other videos with the person either talking too fast or too low.

I don't care what machine you have, all you need is a manual for the machine you are working on and her video!

Yes, it's me! Thank you everyone for your kind words. The videos are a joint venture with my husband. He sets the camera up on the tripod and does the editing afterwards. Content and action are entirely my pigeon.

We've enjoyed doing the videos. There are more in the pipeline... If there is anything anyone would particularly like to see on video, please let me know.

I'd noticed a huge upsurge in viewing figures over the past few days, and now I've traced it back to this thread. I found QB in the first place as a result of following a link from our Youtube channel - had a browse through the site and joined up! I love QB, such lovely people here!

cabbagepatchkid - what accent? I hope you like my Midland vowels.
