Quilt as evidence...
This was sent to me by a friend who hears me talk about the QB all the time. Just thought I would pass it on because you never know what can happen on this board! Very sad story. The quilt though is wonderful! I understand the police wanting to withhold evidence, but 25 years?!!
thats a shame because they have waited way too long. 5 years maybe....they have severely reduced their chances of finding the maker IMHO. I do love the quilt! It would also be interesting to see if an expert could date the fabrics and the potential location where those fabrics were available at that time.
Anyone on this board able to identify and/or date those fabrics? We have such an amazing group here I will be really surprised if there isn't!

Wow, their children must be sufferning and relieved at the same time. First they lose their mother to a violent death, wait decades to find out what happened - and find that their father and uncle are arrested for the murder. So sad.
