Default Quilt magazines and books at library

If you live in south Florida (Ft Lauderdale, Hollywood area), I donated a ton of quilt magazines and a few books to the Dania Beach Library in Dania Beach.....I think they sell them for 25 cents and 1.00 for books.

I have near me the Friends of the library. Never thought of donating quilt magazines. Thanks for the post.

I have taken quilt magazines to the Friends of the Library near me lots of times. I've also bought quilt magazines from them. I always hope I didn't buy one I donated previously...

I took mine to a local quilt shop. A lady that works there took them to her guild. I have also taken some to the senior citizens homes and meetings.

I donate mine to my guild's "garage sale"--those not sold go to local thrift shop. Our local small town library has been unable to get a bond issue passed to build a larger building, so due to space limits and the old building they are in not being structurally sound enough to load up the upper floor in storing books, they are no longer carrying many quilting books. I was devastated as I would get 4-5each visit--now there's only about 4-5!

My guild has a free table every meeting. I put quilt magazines and books on it. I usually leave with the same amount I take. LOL
