    Quilt shop owner passes

Nadine, owner of The Material Girls shop in South Jordan, UT, passed away unexpectedly last week. I had only been to the store once but I remember her because she went out of her way to make me feel welcome. Someone from the shop sent out an email this morning announcing that there is a celebration of her life on Thursday and that the store will begin liquidating its inventory. I hope some of you live close enough to drop by and say goodbye to her staff and support the family in this difficult process.

So sad to hear this news. Also it is such a bad time of year for family.
