I just happened across this!!
"Some people have bunches of WIPs (works in progress) and UFOs (unfinished objects)....I prefer to think of them as PhDs (Projects Half Done)!!" ~Elena Boen
"Just keep in mind that your function here is to have fun and not to be someone else's interior decorator! So ... go forth and have fun!" ~Krystyna
I cannot count my day complete 'til needle, thread and fabric meet.
I am planning to go. I live about 45 minutes away from Austin where the first one is scheduled. Don't know about the location of next one. Not sure that I understand what makes a quilt 'modern', but having a look.

Going is out of the question for me-crunch time at work.
Do we dress up as sewing machines and thimbles as those scifi con people dress as aliens and super-heros? I'm going as a pin cushion! LOL
Thank you Lord for Friends, Family, and Quilters
Our Modern Quilt Guild has been considering taking a road trip to it but are not committed to going yet... We know we're going to Paducah though![]()
I'll be there because it is walking distance for me, but the workshop I really wanted to attend was sold out in a matter of hours. I waited to register until I was home from work that first day of registration and so I missed out. I am excited for the quilt show part of it anyway.
