I am planning to go. I live about 45 minutes away from Austin where the first one is scheduled. Don't know about the location of next one. Not sure that I understand what makes a quilt 'modern', but having a look.

Our Modern Quilt Guild has been considering taking a road trip to it but are not committed to going yet... We know we're going to Paducah though

I'll be there because it is walking distance for me, but the workshop I really wanted to attend was sold out in a matter of hours. I waited to register until I was home from work that first day of registration and so I missed out. I am excited for the quilt show part of it anyway.
