Default Quilter in Moore, OK

This story was on the news and I thought it needed to be shared with all of you.
It has touched me deeply and I'm not sure what to do about it. I feel the need to reach out to her and, in some way, offer support, help, sympathy...something.

Shelly Wells is dying of cancer and she was working on a quilt for her family to have after she's gone. Her home was destroyed in the recent tornado and she thought all the quilt squares were gone also.

I can't even imagine her stress and sadness. She is losing her life and then all her belongings are destroyed. Thank goodness her family has rallied round to help her and her husband. She is lucky to have their support and love.

I don't know how to make this a link. Please cut and paste.

I saw that, too. I was hoping some group in the area would be able to help her get it finished. I wish I knew someone in OK to suggest it to.

How amazing is it that there is so little damage to the quilt squares plus they were found. Someone is watching over this woman and her family at this trying time, God bless them all.
