    Default Quilting fabric @JAF

With the current sale of Keepsake fabrics @ 50% off, when did JAF up the fabric requirement from 2 yards to 3 yards? Just noticed it yesterday.

That sounds like a Joann.com requirement. In the store, they'll let you buy as little as 1/8 yard or special order at least 1 yard. Just a little FYI, I would avoid Joann.com like the plague. The Joann facebook page is full of complaints about orders that are half unfulfilled or take forever to ship. There seems to be something weird going on with their inventory management.

If you buy online, then you have to return the way you bought it. I bought a bolt of batting by Pellon, first shipping was fine, second shipment, the quality was not as desirable but kept it anyways because you might have to pay restocking fee--ugh !

Sorry, yes I meant online. I think the minimum requirements to buy 3 yards is excessive, use to be 2 yards. But I am buying for backing for a quilt and a matching pillowcase.

Don't know about a minimum but, I recently ordered 2 one yard pieces of fabric from JoAnns and was shocked when 1 piece was nearly 2 yards and the other was 1 1/2 yards! Must have been a new employee doing the cutting LOL

Has anyone noticed that the latest coupons from JAF are for regular price items? Seems like there are more of these.

As far as I recall it's always been this way. With the exception of a few coupons that allow even sale items (I think there was one in my last mailing form them.

As for bad shipping, I have never had any issues with the online store or in store. I take that back, I did have a problem with a surly employee, the manager handled it quickly and I even received a 25 dollar gift card in the mail. A lot of problems people have with Joann's and Hancocks for that matter is their attitudes. Not to be mean or offensive, but a lot of people Men and Women have preconceived notions about it cause they are chain stores.
