I saw a very pretty vintage Singer in our Goodwill this weekend. It was still ina wood table bt the table looked very scratched up, and I do not know enough about them to use one or buy one. I felt sort of sorry for it. It just sort of looked sad there. You could tell that someone had loved it andused it a bunch. They were asking $39.99 for it.

That old Singer is just like the one my grandmother had, the one I learned to sew on. Its only about an hour drive from me. Wondering if I can talk hubby into a road trip??? Okay, now that I've talked myself into it, I need to call and see if its still for sale

I called on the old singer and left a message. Still waiting for a call back. I would love to have a machine like my grandmother had, good memories from my childhood.
