    Quilty is closing?

According to this website: http://www.onequiltingcircle.com/ Quilty's last issue will be May/June 2015. The link shown to the Quilty web page does not work (at least for me). I don't remember buying the magazine, but I did look through it. They had some nice, easy quilts to make, with more of a modern take.

I hadn't heard that. I bought a few issues using my 40% off coupon at Hobby Lobby. The quilts are usually too modern for my taste. F&P have expanded producing so many magazines, it really doesn't surprise me that one would shut down.

I think the target market of the magazine was the younger newer quilter.

Yes, the May/June issue will be the last:

Mary Fons does the Love of Quilting show now, sometimes with Liz Porter & even her mom Mary Fons.

Mary Fons (the daughter) has a medical issue that is ongoing...so she may be scaling down her work load. he link I have here will take you to the page.

I'm a subscriber and love the magazine! I hate to hear the end is near - but hopefully another company will fill the gap.

This is why I prefer buying mags at the bookstore. Craft and art magazines do not seem to stick around for long. So many subscriptions to these in the past has let me feel just fine about paying full price with my discount card of course at the counter

Too bad. I have several issues. I like the more modern designs it featured.

I have a subscription for Quilt-it Today and I have not received a magazine in awhile. I tried calling their number and phone has been disconnected. I guess this one is finished too. It's too bad because they had lots of good projects in it.

Same thing happened to me ! I had subscribed to Quilt It and also to Sew It, they were good, less expensive magazines ... they stopped publishing, I got no further issues and NO notice to subscribers about their closure. Really made me mad ... terrible customer service, maybe that's why they failed !! I only subscribe to 2 quilt mags now, vs 6 or 7 I had 5-10 yrs ago.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but the company has gone bankrupt.
