Default Quilty magazine

Saw it at Walmart today, so bought it. I thought it went under, but looking at list of admins....new names at the helm......

the quilts within are modern, but easy, and Mary Fons has quite a few there. But interestingly enough, on page 55.... There is one block that is put in backwards...either by choice or accident......sort of like the discussion here in one of the threads about fixing oopses.......... Just had to tell someone!

What was the name of the quilt that had backwards block?
I was looking at the magazine too but can't remember seeing the oopsie.
Of course I may have missed it...didn't buy mag. but curious now. I have to look at it again when I go there.

When you look at F&P correction, it is shocking how many mistakes are not caught before print.

Here is the announcement from Mary Fons about the magazine closing. Was supposed to happen with May 2015 issue. Obviously, they changed their minds. http://blog.maryfons.com/2015/01/mag...uilty-closing/

Oopsie for me. I just remembered....it wasn't Quilty that I saw. It was another magazine. My apologies.

the quilt is called Peppermintz, and at the bottom of the page ( I missed this when I originally posted here). She said, yes one block is backward, why, just because......

it it must still be a f&p publication as ads are things at their website....no others.....

Hi, Geri
When I met Mary Fons at Nancy Notions Sewing Weekend I asked her about Quilty Magazine she is no longer involved she said they are going to rerun past quilts, and I got the same magazine you picked-up and they are rerunning the same quilts. I have all Quilty magazine from the first when Mary Fons had the show on QNNTV Quility.

Wbfrog....hmm, interesting. I have sort of just pasted by mags lately...to costly and to repetitive, but when I saw Quilty, I had to buy just to see......you are right, saw much in there that I have seen elsewhere lately....but that seems to be the norm now...everything is duplicated everywhere!
