Default Red Fabric Bleed test

I purchased 8 yards of deep red fabric from Craftsy. Because of the color, I prewashed it 4 times and my Color Catchers were still coming out pink. I called Craftsy and they provided me the following link: https://www.thespruce.com/fabric-ble...bility-2821309.

I tested the fabric per the test and all is well. I thought I might share this information.

How can you test the fabric and say all is well when your color catchers are still turning pink?

I have never washed fabric and not have a color catcher not have some color be on it. Unless it's very bright with color I don't worry about it.
