If you love paper piecing, I think this is an awesome site, especially if you love horses, dogs, flowers, and other critters, ect...Linda Hibbert has some great patterns and offers 4 free patterns as well....If you remember the paper-pieced puppy dog and cat pillow that graced the cover of, I think it was McCall's Quilting magazine, this is the same lady that designed those patterns....I am brand new to paper piecing. but hopefully, one day, I'll be good enough to tackle the mare and stallion pattern, running side by side that Linda has designed......

Enjoy!

Thank you! I was able to find a paper pieced Boston Terrier pattern. Where did you see the free patterns on the site?

If you sign up for the newsletter for this site, you will be sent a free pattern each month in the newsletter. She does a theme of some sort each year. This year is Treasures of the Rainforest . Last year's was Wee Water Ones. You can print them out from the newletter. I have been doing this for several years now. You can also buy the patterns from past years on her website ... and of course all kinds of other patterns like dogs, cats, horses, birds, flowers, etc. I think she is very generous to give up free patterns that she has designed. Go check out her website!!!

Sandi, Thank You so much for sharing Silver Linings with us. I'm like you just starting to become corageous enough to try what seems like such a wonderful way to have all the points on beautiful patterns line up. We just have to keep encouraging each other to forge forward until our work is acceptable to us ( our own worst critic) LOL

Happy paper piecing Sandi!
Andie
