Welcome to the Quilting Board!

I watched this just before signing in here. How awsome was that?
For those wondering, he shows how to make one seam flying geese with hidden pockets. So clever.
Butterflywing,
Thank you so much for sharing this one.
I do believe that with trying, I could do
this too!! :D I am excited to try it out.
:D :D :D :D
Thanks Butterfly so much for this simplified flying geese quilt pattern. Love his technique & looks like I could really use up some of my stash with this. I watched PBS this afternoon & they showed on Fon's & Porter a wedding cake that had free standing lace flowers sewn on at strategic points. I can picture sewing them (or other shaped FSL) onto the points of the flying geese or in the middle of them. Guess I'll have to play with that idea & see how it works out. If it looks OK, I'll post pics..........if not it'll go in the stash trash for recycling.
Here I go with Christmas gifts!!! What a great idea.
It's a great tute and I LOVE making FG that way!!!
HI Butterflywing
I have seen Ricky show this before and he gave the formula to make different sizes.... do you have that information?

he's better about size.
Thanks Butterfly,
The RT one he did a 3 in sq to start and the 3 x 5.5 ret.
This guy did the 4 in sq with a 7.5 so with that I figured it out...THANK YOU so much. The formula is
whatever the starting sq is x's 2 - 1/2 inch... hope that makes since....
Thanks Again Connie
Hope some of you try this for it is very easy....
