Yes, wouldn't that be nice to have. As we like to say at our house "All it takes is money!" I guess if one was making a living (interpret that as money) at their art, it would make sense.
Lovely to have, but... Look at the third picture down - either it belongs to a quilter who forgot that not everything should be arranged by color, or maybe a decorator who buys books by the yard. The quilter in me gets it, but the old English major in me can't imagine any utility in sorting books by color. Nearly as silly as Restoration Hardware stripping the covers off old books, tying them in sets of four or five and putting them backwards (spine in) on the shelf. It's been a couple of years, but I've always wondered if that actually sold any. Those shelves would be so much nicer if they were full of comic book boards wrapped in gorgeous fabric.
The second picture actually has a baby gate across the door. "Don't you kids dare come in Mommy's room!"
that bookcase made me laugh, hard
Non-reader decorator I think.
Decorators used to buy book collections by the yard to dress up the homes of the newly rich.
The baby gate could be to keep a pet out. My dog will make a mess in my sewing room if I'm not in there.
Got fabric?
I love all the space.....I love my new room...Everyone that sews deserves one....
