Asking a seamstress to mend is like asking Picasso to paint your garage.
Abraham & Strauss was a Brooklyn, NY based department store. I think they were owned by Federated Department Stores, the same group that owns Macy's. I believe they went out of business in the late 1960's or early 1970's. I remember my mom buying a lot of my school clothes there. A&S was a great store.

It's a badged model 15 clone. There are a lot of them out there.
It is a beautiful machine and cabinet, but I personally think it it's overpriced.
if your interested all you gotta do is make an offer. you know the saying...money talks............
still looking for the book for this machine if anyone has one and can make a copy i'd appreciate it. tx.
