    Question Sashes

Does anyone have a site to learn how to make Sashes (Like the Beauty Queens wear)? I have a friend who would like to make sashes for bridesmaids in an upcoming wedding. We have a JoAnn's and Hobby Lobby here. Do you know of a pattern site (free or otherwise)? Or even a resource where she can buy these and decorate? Thanks so much for your help!

Try looking at patterns for liturgical clothes ... minister's robes. You should be able to find one for a deacon's sash. Just eliminate the bottom portion and you should be good to go.

    Best wishes in your endeavor.
