Yes, it is a ¾” right angle binder. It must be screwed down to your machine bed. A plastic machine will not work. But if you have a metal bed, an old straight machine works great.
It is single layer, or you can fuse your binding double, and then press your raw edges to the center to feed through the binder. Notice the first video; she had the binding on a spool anchored to the back and right of the head to feed the binder fast. You can over lap the end a couple of inches then rip out enough to turn under the edges and re-stitch.

I have a binding attachment for my Janome 6600 that is similar to this, but I certainly don't run my machine that fast! lol

I think you can get an attachment or special binding foot for most major sewing machine brands. Ask at your local dealer. I know Bernina has one.
