I have been following Bonnie's use of scraps. I have tubs full of scraps and actually was tired of using them. But one day I discovered the "crayon box" pattern on her site and I had my friend cut me some metal templates. I iron one tub of fabric, brought it to work so I could cut during lunch, and went home and started sewing. To date I have 96 blocks sewn and have a box full of irned fabric yet to cut. This block makes up cute and is easy to sew. Go check it out....www.quiltville.com

I could send you an envelope or prepaid box. Every time you send me one I'll send you another. I make lots of charity quilts.

This is one of the best articles i've ever read about organizing and using scraps... even incorporating your "not used" pieces...
Hope it can help a few!!

Thanks very much I have just started sewing and quilting and have keep all my scraps, just saw a dog or cat bed with very small trims being use so now I am keeping them also. Someone told me to also save the scrap with the fabric name and color bar on it, so yes I am doing that as well, it helps me to match colors.

I would be happy to take them off your hands. Or you can post them on Freecycle in your area. Freecycle.org.
