I highly suggest finding a dealer you trust and will support you after the sale. Especially with a serger.
My dealer often puts me back on track.

Hi, just a quick update to thank everyone for their suggestions. I ended up purchasing a new BabyLock Imagine serger and boy am I happy with the easy jet-air thread system! I got it from a dealer, and am so happy I didn't wait until the sewing show to shop, that would've been overwhelming and impossible to focus. Included was a kit with 6 extra feet, and 2 classes.
