I don't see why we could not do this with all bindings...this seems sooo...simple. She sews the bindings on like borders...4 separate pieces. Has anyone tried doing a binding like this?? http://www.thequiltshow.com/os/blog.php/blog_id/3902

that is terrific for reversible binding, and maybe for utility quilts, also. but i prefer the doublefold method for my better quilts. thanks for sharing.

I am thinking you could do the double fold and still do it like she did using 4 separate pieces and sewing them on like a border.

No, and never will. I really like mitered corners much better. And I also like a finished 1/4" inch binding on the front and on the back.
