there is a new zealand company that, of course, sells notions and stuff to stay in business, but also offers free projects. one of these projects is a lovely quilt in any size you like called "nesting hexagons". definitely check this out: (let's see if i can do this right)

what's nice is that you can cut them. then set them up and pin them wherever you are to get them ready for later stitching. i see it as a great take along project that just takes as long as it takes. like all my other projects.

Wait isn't a Kiwi a persian fruit? LOL

Now this proves it is great when someone post a repeat site. This one has new patterns up and I would never have checked it again had you (butterflywing) not posted it here. I like the Strata quilt. This site has good info and patterns. Thanks for posting!
