Welcome to the Quilting Board!

If interested Sentimental Stitches started their BOM today...Takes 2...
I was looking at this. I don't have enough stash yardage to do the quilt, but the local shop is doing a clearance sale. I might jump in if I can find fabric that I like. I've never tried red work embroidery and think this might be a gentle introduction.
Then again it is new year and I always get a bad case of the "starts" that end up as UFOs. Thinking. Thinking.
I bought some red fabric from connecting threads when it was on sale...now I`m glad I did....however it could be done in any color you like...
Thank you for sharing
I'm thinking about doing this one. I have never done a 2 color quilt. Should be interesting. To many times I have passed on her projects only to wish later I had done them.

I went to the LQS today and purchased yardage for the quilt. She was having a 40% off clearance sale so it was reasonable. I have the first set of patterns downloaded so I just need to cut fabrics when the kids are sleeping.
This is NOT just a "Sentimental Stitches" BOM.
This project is by both Gay at Sentimental Stitches and Brenda at Dear Jane. There are multiple blocks every month. On the 1st of each month Gay will post blocks on her blog; on the 15th of each month Brenda will post blocks on her site. For this reason, it is best to always start at the "Just Takes 2" blog, which will have an article with links to the correct blog. The "Just Takes 2" blog also has some basic information about the quilt (e.g., fabric requirements, etc).
